At Ware-cycle, we bring together a variety of solutions from top vendors to create customised IT management strategies for our clients. We are committed to sustainability, ensuring that 100% of our processes are landfill-free. In light of the growing concern over electronic waste, we offer our clients the opportunity to reclaim value from their outdated equipment.
The volume of electronic waste from households and businesses increases every year, and much of this waste is harmful to the environment if not disposed of properly, often ending up in landfills as 'general waste'.
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive outlines the proper methods for reusing, recycling, and treating electronic waste. This often involves complex disassembly to separate components by material and recyclability. Both we and our partners strictly adhere to this directive, employing specialists to maximise the reuse and recycling of electronic waste.
Our trusted partners offer security-grade sanitisation for computers with hard drives of 250GB and above. We use Blancco erasure software, which is approved by several national security services, including Interpol, NASA, and Microsoft.
For failed sanitisation, we remove and shred the hard drives. We can provide a detailed report upon request, giving you peace of mind that your data has been securely wiped.
